Sarajevo- An apparent bomb explosion at a Bosnian shopping centre killed a security guard and injured five people Thursday, local media reported.

The explosive device was placed in the food corner, Bosnian federal television quoted police as saying.

Witnesses claimed that the explosive was set off by a woman. Police were investigating the blast. (dpa)
