Border rolls out its first e-reader Kobo

Border rolls out its first e-reader KoboBorder has come with its own e-reader termed as Kobo which will soon be sold through its retailers' chain.

The renowned book retailer judging the present needs of the market has unveiled its low priced e-reader. This bare-bones e-reader which is at present devoid of 3G connectivity or Wi-Fi will start shipping its units from 17th June.

It is a 6 - inch device which comes with an e-ink display, similar to that of B&N Nook and Amazon Kindle. It runs short on the shades of grey which are eight in number unlike its rival which are equipped with 16 levels.

Although it comes with traits such as Bluetooth connectivity, SD slot and 1GB internal memory yet it runs short in traits with its similar rivals. Priced at $150 the features go accordingly with the device.

However, this device is $100 cheaper in comparison to Nook and Kindle, but the trade experts say this device is no comparison with others in its league.
