German automaker, BMW is celebrating 10 years since the first BMW Mini was unveiled and is offering a host of prizes to the buyers.

Mini drivers in the UK have clocked 15 billion miles on UK roads in the last decade, which is enough to take 33,000 journeys to the moon and back. In another look, the miles clocked between them could have taken them 600,000 times around the globe.

The company ahs released a new website called, Mini Lunatics, which his offering a chance to win several prizes and a trip to Cape Canaveral. The users are being asked to provide details like car's mileage and then their MINI will be launched in a virtual space before it docks with the MINI space station.

“MINI marks a decade of fun and stylish motoring with a launch into space and the chance to win a trip of a life time,” read the release from the company.
