Ashley Greene’s forth coming flick Skateland has been reportedly debuted through MTV Hollywood Crush with the first trailer of the film being shown via this concept is being widely appreciated.
The movie Skateland is actually retro in its concept and storyline but has the power to capture audience’s attention due to the contemporary feel and touch that has been incorporated into it.
The basic storyline of the movie is about a young guy of 19-year old called Ritchie Miller played by Shiloh Fernandez , who is the manager of a roller skating rink. Life for him rolls on quite in the usual manner until there are certain circumstances in his life that force him to look at life with a different perspective.
Ashley Greene who plays his lady love in the film enacts the role of Michelle Burkham is quite amazing in the role where she is supposed to be a young frustrated girl who leads life on her own terms.
Skateland is a movie which has the flavor of the 1980’s as that was the time when roller skating was one of the most popular sports for teens and youngsters.
The movie is directed by Anthony Burns who has reportedly written the script too along with Brandon Freeman and Heath Freeman.
Skateland was premiered in the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 and it had also got nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.
The movie is all set to release in the US, albeit in limited theaters on the 25th of March.
