Arushi murder case: Father’s bail plea hearing today
Ghaziabad, May 26 : A local court here today will hear a bail application of dentist Rajesh Talwar, the man accused of killing his daughter Arushi.
Dr. Talwar is presently under judicial remand for 14 days.
On Saturday, Dr. Talwar's lawyers filed bail applications, saying there was no evidence to link him with the crime and that he suffered from severe asthma.
The police also moved an application seeking custody of Dr. Talwar.
On Sunday, the wife and brother of Dr. Talwar visited him at the Dasna Jail here.
Dr. Talwar’s brother, Dinesh Talwar said the family believed Rajesh to be 100 per cent innocent.
Earlier, Nupur had come out in strong defence of her husband claiming his innocence in the murder of their daughter and domestic help. (ANI)
Arushi, a class IX student of Delhi Public School in Noida, was found in her bedroom with her throat slit last Friday. A day later, Hemraj, the Nepali help of the Talwar household, who was initially named as prime suspect by Noida Police, was found dead on the terrace. His throat was also slit in a similar manner.
