To make a series of luxury mobile phones and LCD TVs, Giorgio Armani, the world famous designer has signed up a partnership deal with Samsung Electronics.

The pact that requires Giorgio to produce the designs, and Samsung to supply technical experience, was sealed off at the currently happening Women’s Fashion Week in Milan yesterday.

The flagship product of the alliance, a stylish mobile phone just 10.5mm thick, was displayed during the occasion.

Luxury cellular phones will be built up under the signed label, Georgio Armani, plus under the lifestyle brand, Emporio Armani.

In the meantime, the stylish LCD TV sets will be introduced in January 2008. These would be fabricated under the home interiors lifestyle brand, i.e., Armani/Casa.

Revealing the luxury cell phone, Mr. Armani stated that presently, fashion has flourished to cover person’s way of living.

The vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, Jong-Yong Yun told that the effort would assist both companies to reach a wider audience, and offer expressive style and pleasure to their clients.

The designer mobiles are intended to be available in select mobile phone stores and Giorgio Armani dress shops in major European countries beginning November this year, with expansion to other markets planned for the coming year.
