Apple To Re-Launch Its iPod Range

Apple is all set to create vibes yet again in the market. Earlier with 3G iPhone and now it Apple To Re-Launch Its iPod Range has been revealed that by Christmas the company will unveil a whole new range of the latest models of its high-in-demand iPod music players.

It’s been only two months since the company had launched it second generation iPhone. Now there is news that next week on Tuesday, the consumer technology specialist is planning an event in US and Britain called “Lets Rock.”

Though it’s not yet sure as to what the event is being organized for, it is being guessed that the event will fetch as a platform for the company to unveil its new range of iPod Touch and slightly larger iPod Nano which is supported by four gigabytes (4G) of memory.

It has been learnt that the company’s motive behind the re-launch of Touch is related to the pricing differential between it and iPhone. The customers had been finding Touch relatively more expensive as compared to the 3G iPhone, since its launch during summer this year. Reason being that iPhone served all the functions of the customer, be it music or calling, whereas iPod is just related to one.

During this event, other products including iPod Shuffle may also be introduced in tis latest version, and it will also help the company’s website, iTunes, which provides music for download, to benefit as well. Needham & Co analyst Charles Wolf reported regarding the next week’s event, “It’s got to be new iPods. That’s 100pc certain.”

He further informed regarding the company’s laptop line, “The only question I cannot answer is whether they will also do new MacBooks.”

Apple co-founder and chief executive Steve Jobs had informed during the month of July that company is looking forward to launch number of new products in the coming months.
