Andhra Bank has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and has managed to post an impressive net profit and revenue.

The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 2402.645 million for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010. This net profit figure was at Rs 2012.105 million for the same quarter in the preceding year.

So far as the total income of the Bank is concerned, it has touched Rs 73374.858 million for the fourth quarter. It has increased from Rs 61399.992 million for the same quarter last year.

The net revenue figure of the Andhra Bank is reasonably good as well. The consolidated net profit of the bank has found out to be Rs 10496.678 million for this quarter.

In the market its share price has also gone up after this announcement. It was trading at Rs. 123.75. It has improved to 2.36%by Rs. 2.85. The total traded quantity was 341964 as compared to the last two week's average of 341964.
