Amy Winehouse ‘to headline St. Lucia’s annual jazz festival’

Amy Winehouse ‘to headline St. Lucia’s annual jazz festival’Washington, Mar 17 : Troubled popstar Amy Winehouse is apparently returning to the Caribbean to headline St. Lucia''s 18th annual jazz festival.

The 25-year-old singer, who was all set to perform at the Coachella festival in America, faced a major setback after being denied the US visa, as she has been charged with assaulting a fan in the country.

Winehouse was offered to perform at the festival, to be held in May, while she was vacationing on St. Lucia recently.

According to the reports, Winehouse will be a guest of the island''s Tourism Minister, Allen Chastanet.

"She''s welcome to stay as long as she wants to. We enjoy having her here," Contactmusic quoted Chastanet as telling E! Online.

"I wish we had recording facilities for her. I know she was trying very hard to record her album down there. That is something the government is working on down the road," he added. (ANI)
