Alstom Projects secures order worth Rs 373 crore from BHEL; Stock up 5%
Alstom Projects India Ltd, a majority owned subsidiary company of Alstom SA France - the global leader in power generation and rail infrastructure, has bagged a contract worth Rs 373 crores from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).
Within the scope of this contract, the company will supply Boiler components for 2 X 800 MW Supercritical Coal Fired Power Plant at Krishnapatnam, Nellore Dist in Andra Pradesh.
Earlier this month, the company has received an order worth Rs 265 crores from Lanco Infratech Ltd to install a new power plant (Teesta Hydroelectric Project Stage VI) on the Teesta river in Sikkim region (India).
The shares of Alstom Project today closed at Rs 516, up 5% compared to its previous close of Rs 490. The counter has made
52-week-high and low of Rs 538 and Rs 191 respectively.
