Alstom Projects Consortium bags order worth Rs 564 croreAlstom Projects and its consortium partners have signed a contract to supply the signaling system with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) for the first two lines of the new Bangalore metro system in India.

The contract is valued at a total of Rs 563.4 crore, out of which Alstom's consolidated share is around Rs 354.7 crore.

The contract includes the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of modern signaling / train control and telecommunication systems for two corridor lines (North-South (17.9 km / 18 stations) and East-West (18.1 km / 17 stations) of Bangalore metro system including two depots and one Operation Control Centre
(OC).

The consortium led by Alstom Projects India Limited (APIL) includes Alstom Transport SA (ATSA), Thales Security Solutions & Services and Sumitomo Corporation.
