Administration Assures To Clear Up Air India Pilots' Problems By Next 3 Mths
As the stir by Air India pilots made entry in the 12th day, the country’s administration guaranteed to clear up troubles of pilots by the next three months, and asked them to get back to their work.
Mr. Ajit Singh, Civil Aviation Minister, stated that whatever troubles pilots have they should step forward and discuss.
After kicking off the new terminal at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, Mr. Singh said, "But it is not possible by creating loss or causing inconvenience to the passengers... The government will not adopt a victimisation policy, whatever problems they have will be sorted out in three months,".
On the subject of reinstating fired pilots, he stated that the pilots should return to work and there will be no victimization by the administration.
“Attempts are being made to resolve the situation. It's my appeal to the pilots that they should think about the passengers," he said.
"If passengers get unhappy, it would create more problems in days to come... If the airline does not survive then there is no meaning of other things like salary, promotion or increment," he said.
As the Justice Dharmadhikari group report is projected, there is no cause behind the stir and the pilots should return to their work.
"Dharmadhikari committee was constituted to look into the problems of the pilots... their problems would be considered," Mr. Singh said.
Mr. Singh mentioned that the Delhi High Court had already announced the ongoing stir as unlawful.
"The government has given a package of Rs 30,000 crore for the revival of AI but money alone would not make a difference. The airline has to be competitive and pay attention to the cost," he said.
