Aditya Birla Nuvo has declared its fourth financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and it has managed to post an impressive net profit and revenue. The diversified company Aditya Birla Nuvo has posted a net profit of Rs 180 crore for the fourth quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010. The firm has encountered a net loss of 146 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Managing Director of Aditya Birla Nuvo, Mr. Rakesh Jain has informed to the media that the company has managed to improve its profitability in the manufacturing businesses while it has reduced losses in its life insurance and IT segments.

So far as the annual net sales of the firm is concerned, it's consolidate sales has touched to Rs 15,505 crore against Rs 14,315 crore in the previous year. The net sales of Aditya Birla Nuvo stood at Rs 4,478 crore in the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 4,124 crore in the same period in the preceding year.

The annual net profit of the firm was Rs 155 crore in current year while it had a loss of Rs 436 crore in the fiscal 2009.
