Actors claim 'Atithi tum kab...?' to be a laugh riot
How young couples in Mumbai deal with an unannounced guest is shown in Ajay Devgan and Konkona Sen Sharma starrer upcoming flick "Atithi tum kab jaoge?"
Konkona said," I think people will relate to the film a lot because this basically reflects the lives of young couples today in Mumbai. There are people from all over the country coming here to make their lives."
The movie is directed by Ashwni Dhir and produced by Amita Pathak and also has versatile actor Paresh Rawal playing the guest.
The movie is all about the turn which the life of Puneet (Ajay) and Munmun (Konkona), a happily married couple living in Mumbai, takes when a distant relative, Chachaji (Paresh), turns up unannounced from a far-off village.
The chaos that follows makes it a rib-tickling comedy where the agonised couple tries various methods to get rid of him but fails every time.
Konkona further added," It is about the comedy that happens while trying to get relief from a person who comes as a guest and shows no signs of leaving. If people have guests from their village, there is a question of privacy. It's not like Delhi where you have huge houses. So I think because of all these factors people will relate to it."
"It's a light-hearted film. There is sensibility along with humour. There is also an undercurrent emotion in it," Ajay said. (With input form agencies)
