About 323,684 British homes cost more than £1millionAccording to the latest estimates, about 323,684 homes across the UK now have a selling price of more than £1million.

The data showed that the number of such property millionaires are rose by about 78,000during the previous one year. Zoopla. co. uk said that that data shows that the number increased by one third from the previous year. The website also said that Kensington Palace Gardens in London is the country's most expensive street with an average price tag of £36million for homes.

The site also noted that the UK's ten most sought after streets were in London due to high demand from the international buyers. Zoopla said that the buyers are ready to pay as much for the location as they pay for the quality of the property. Virginia Water, Surrey, was top of the list of most expensive towns as it had an average property value of more than £1million, according to the report.

Lawrence Hall of Zoopla. co. uk said, "Even lottery winners can only fantasise about owning a home on these streets. Property values in these super-prime areas are astronomically high and have risen substantially over the past year."
