50 Cent takes a swipe at Kanye West ‘for going soft’

50 CentLondon, January 10 : 50 Cent may have taken a dig at fellow rapper Kanye West for dumping rap for soft love songs - and even suggesting that the latter was gay. The singer, who rose to fame with the release of his albums `Get Rich or Die Tryin'' (2003) and `The Massacre' (2005), had allegedly launched the accusation after Kanye released his latest album, `808s and Heartbreak'.

50 Cent was said to be so enraged "that a hardman rapper is singing ballads, he was moved to parody his rival in song," from his new album `Before I Self-destruct' set to be released in February, reports the Mirror.

His `Heartless Monster, alleged to be poking fun at Kanye, reads: It's the return of the heartless monster/I should give you n***s a whole R&B record/808s and my heart's broken/I hate all these f***ers with the rainbow colours on."

According to a source, 50 Cent was bent on reclaiming his title after Kanye's `Graduation' beat his `Aftermath' the No. 1 album spot in
2007.

The source said: "50 said he would hang up his mic last time Kanye beat him to the top spot. But he's come back with a new album and hopes to reclaim Kanye's crown." (ANI)
