3D TV won’t be pain for eye site

3D TV won’t be pain for eye siteThe recently released report of study claims that 3D TV won’t hamper the eyesight, states   the Sydney Morning Herald.

Researcher Professor Colin Clifford from the University of Sydney’s Vision Centre, claims that studies performed on 3D technology in televisions does not seem to cause any more harm to eyes than traditional flat-screen TV sets. Clifford adds: “The concern about 3D TV originates with the development, a couple of years ago, of virtual reality goggles which have tiny screens right in front of both eyes which present a slightly different image to each eye,” this in addition to the fact that it refutes claims made by other scientists and eye experts.

Facts suggest that all kinds of television should be viewed from distance of two to three metres, and should be restricted for not more than a couple of hours at a time.

Word of caution for children asks them to refrain from watching television excessively.
