2025 E-Tron GT: Audi’s fastest & most powerful stock model ever

Marking a big leap into the future of electric transportation, Audi recently unveiled RS E-Tron GT Performance is all set to push the limits with its formidable 912 horsepower, lightning-fast acceleration and extended range.

The Ingolstadt, Germany-headquartered luxury car maker is offering three versions of the all-electric grand tourer, viz. the Audi S E-Tron GT, Audi RS E-Tron GT and a newly-added Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance.

The all-electric sleek grand tourer is, in fact, Audi’s not only the fastest but also the most powerful stock model to date. The top-of-the-line Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance embodies the brand’s relentless pursuit of automotive excellence in the fast-evolving electric age.

Expected to enter the U.S. market near the end of this year as a 2025 model, the Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance comes equipped with two powerful electric motors capable of churning out maximum power output of 912 hp, which is enough to propel the vehicle from 0 to 62 mph in merely 2.5 seconds.

The mid-range Audi RS E-Tron GT also has impressive power output. Its electric motors can produce 845 hp, enabling the vehicle to sprint from standstill to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. The entry-level Audi E-Tron GT’s electric powertrain produces 671 hp and it takes 3.4 seconds to hit 62 mph.

It is worth-mentioning here that the former most powerful model, viz. the 2024 RS E-Tron GT, was capable of producing 637 hp, and it would take 3.1 seconds to reach 60 mph.

In addition to stronger electric motors, the updated Audi E-Tron GT has also received a larger battery that boasts faster charging speeds. These notable enhancements enable the electric cruiser to cover longer distance on a single charge. The lithium-ion battery pack’s usable capacity has increased from 84 kWh to 97 kWh, which leads to a maximum WLTP-rated driving range of 378 miles (approx. 6.8.3 km) for the S E-Tron GT trim. The speed of charging has been boosted from 270 kW to 320 kW, allowing the vehicle to gain 174 miles of range in merely 10 minutes from a DC fast charger.

With its cutting-edge technology, sophisticated design elements and enhanced powertrain options, the Audi RS E-Tron stands as a beacon of innovation and performance in the highly-competitive global market of EVs. This EV not only boasts staggering acceleration and power but also challenges deep-rooted conventions. In short, the new all-electric sleek grand tourer heralds a new era of electrified luxury and performance.
