Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has registered a growth of 5 per cent in its consolidated net profit after tax at Rs 309.74 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009, against Rs 295.12 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.

Further, the company's total income has also surged from Rs 1143.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 1315.33 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009.

For the fiscal ended March 31, the company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1522.11 crore, a 266 per cent increase from Rs 416 crore in the year-ago period.

Total Income has increased from Rs 19491.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 23345.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2009. However, the total income has surged 20 per cent to Rs 2334.53 crore during the year ended March 31, 2009, against Rs 1949.18 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
