Zaheer's fitness is an issue for Indian Team
Participation of Zaheer Khan, the indian left-arm bowler, in T20 World Cup seems to be under the clouds of uncertainty due to his unfitness.
Zaheer injured his left shoulder in a game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Johannesburg on May 3 while playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL.
After that injury, Zaheer has not played even a single match and is currently going through treatment. While rest of the Mumbai Indians team has come back to India, Zaheer opted to stay back in South Africa for recovering from his shoulder injury.
World T20 Championship will commence on June 5 and Indian Team, under the captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni will depart on May 29 for England.
BCCI officials said that decision on Zaheer's availability for T20 World Cup will be taken within two days on basis of his fitness report.
