It is believed that this feature that has now been made a common thing can be availed by users through a link to an "unlisted video", where the users can share "personal" videos among infinite people, says a post on the blog of YouTube.

Instead these unlisted video can be watched by anyone and everyone who has an access to internet viewing and thus, YouTube.
