YouTube crosses Two Billion Viewers
Google claims that its subsidiary unit YouTube, an Online video sharing site has surpassed the two billion mark in viewership.
It was further stated that YouTube has more than double the prime-time viewing figures has been reported for three of the major US television networks combined.
The co-founder of YouTube gave an exclusive statement that claimed: "I see this great growth opportunity in the online video market, and we are positioning ourselves to be a leader. I feel we have much further to go."
This mark that has been achieved by receiving two billion users a day is a big deal, but sill needs a further expansion. As opposed to TV viewers who get to stick hours together has YouTube members who visit for mere five minutes.
However the company is in a spree of expansion which will plunge in a new video rental service, but the recent reports state that this service is not performing upto the mark and seeks further revamping.
