Younis quits from T20 cricketPakistan skipper, Younis Khan has announced his retirement from the T20 format of the cricket after an emphatic win of Pakistan on Sri Lanka in the ICC T20 World Cup final at the Lords on Sunday.

Although. Younis will continue to play in the test cricket and ODIs for his country.

Younis said that this was his last game in T20 cricket as now he is too old to play in this quick format of cricket.

Younis also requested to all the countries to visit Pakistan for cricket tours saying that to promote cricket among the youngsters, they need cricket series to be played at their home soil.

Dedicating this win of Pakistan to the former Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer, Younis said that he dedicates the final to Woolmer as he encouraged him at the time when he was not even a regular player in the Pakistan team.

Meanwhile, no announcement has been made regarding new captain of Pakistan T20 team but Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal will be the leading candidates for this post for the selectors of the Pakistan team.
