The lovers of the Womad (World of Music, Arts and Dance) weekend get prepared to have it again.  

The full programme of the world’s biggest music festival has just been started.  This will continue for three-day on April 9. Well there is no doubt about the presence of the favorites like Baaba Maal, Afro Celt Sound System. This time Dhol Foundation will take centre stage mot only at the Abu Dhabi Corniche but also Al Ain’s Al Jahili Fort. This WOMAD weekend is full of surprises.

Goran Bregovic’s lines, “Hey lucky people, North and South/This is your leader, I’m called ‘the mouth’/we’re gonna play a game that’s funny/Get the, get the, get the money”? How can one forget this? In this music festival the darling of Eastern Europe that rocked the music world in the past year, will be also give his presence. He has a superb talent of combining rock twists and rooted in all kinds of Balkan music traditions.  He has made a number of fans who are filling up stadiums just as easy as FC Barcelona. However, many other great musicians are coming in the festival.
