West Indies elects to bat first against Bangladesh
West Indies has decided to bat first in the third and final ODI of the one day series against Bangladesh at St Kitts. West Indies is trailing in the series by 2-0 and they will be looking to win this match to avoid white wash in the series.
West Indies got to a bad start as they lost two wickets early in the inning. West Indies opener K Powell (0) got out without opening his account while D Smith was bowled by N Hossain at the individual score of 4 runs.
West Indies is playing with the inexperienced players as all the senior players refused to play in the International cricket over a contract and payment issue. Now, all senior players have made themselves available for selection in the national team but the West Indies Cricket Board (WCB) decided to retain the original squad.
WCB had also decided to retain their inexperienced squad for Champions Trophy. But, WBC decision could not be adjudged right after seeing the result of ongoing ODI series against Bangladesh.
