West Indies elects to bat first against Australia
West Indies skipper Chris Gayle has won the toss and opted to field first in the first one day international match against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Sunday.
Australian team has made two changes in the team that played against Pakistan in the last ODI at the Perth. Adam Voges and Clint McKay have been dropped while Shane Watson and D Bollinger have been included in the Australian squad.
Australian team boosted by 5-0 clean sweep against Pakistan will be looking to take 1-0 lead in the five ODI matches series by winning this match. On the other hand, West Indies team is looking under-strength against the World no. 1 ODI team.
Gayle had said that they should not under estimate their team and they will win the ODI series 4-1. Considering that Australia has not lost any match in any format of cricket during this summer, it will be a tough task for the West Indies.
