We will deliberate on our relationship with the Congress: Amar Singh

We will deliberate on our relationship with the Congress: Amar SinghNew Delhi, Sept 21 : The Samajwadi Party has said that it would deliberate on its relationship with the ruling Congress Party.

General Secretary Amar Singh said the Samajwadi Party will have to be cautious on extending support to the Congress again as it has appointed a BJP leader L K Advani''s close aide Sudheendra Kulkarni in a Railway Ministry Committee.

"I have not said that we will take back support from the Congress. I always said, we would deliberate on our relationship with the Congress because the UPA Government has inducted Sudheendra Kulkarni, who was in-charge of Advani''s Operation Prime Minister. Even though, they did not have time to deliberate on price rise despite completing 100 days in office," Singh here on Sunday.

The Samajwadi Party came to the Congress''s rescue last year after its Communist allies quit over a decision to forge ahead with a nuclear energy deal with the United States. Since then the party has extended its support to the Congress despite seat-sharing disputes. (ANI)
