We can now focus on the Ashes: Warne

We can now focus on the Ashes: WarneFormer Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne said that early exit of the Australian team from the ICC T20 World Cup could help their team in the upcoming Ashes series against England.

Australian team led by skipper Ricky Ponting crashed out of the ICC T20 World Cup in the first round after they were defeated by West Indies and Sri Lanka in the pool matches.

Warne said that he would have liked to see Australian team still playing in the ICC T20 World Cup.

He further added that now Australian team will have extra time for preparation of the Ashes series and our team can now focus on the Ashes series which is going to start from 8th July against England.

On the issue of John Buchanan coaching England team, Warne said that Buchanan's overcomplicated methods of coaching will increase Australia's chances of retaining the Ashes series.
