Virender Sehwag will return home
India's opening batsman Virender Sehwag will return back to home due to his shoulder injury and he will not play in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.
BCCI senior officials said that Sehwag will return to India after consulting medical experts in England.
Sehwag injured his shoulder during a match in the Indian Premier League (IPL-2) while playing for Delhi Daredevils and could not recover from that injury.
Sehwag had missed both the warm-up matches as well as first match against Bangladesh in pool match of ICC T20 World Cup.
Rohit Sharma has done well in recent matches who has been promoted as a makeshift opener and will continue to open in next matches also.
Dinesh Karthik will replace Sehwag in the Indian squad for rest of matches of ICC T20 World Cup.
