Unity Infraprojects Q2 Total Income Rises 32.7% to Rs 3077 Million
Unity Infraprojects Limited, a top engineering and construction company, has declared its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2010, which ended Sept 30, 2009.
The company's total income during the second quarter surged 32.67% to Rs 3077.26 million as against Rs 2319.4 million during the same period of the last year.
The company has recorded an increase of 21.59% in its PAT, which stood at Rs 187.51 million as against Rs 154.22 million.
At the company's 12th Annual General Meeting, the company's members allowed its directors to lift funds worth Rs 250 crores via QIP route.
The company's order book stood at Rs 31900 million, a growth of 18% over March 2009, at the end of the second quarter of FY 2010.
During the second quarter, the company pocketed an order worth Rs 54.56 crore in order to build six towers for Amanora Park Town, Pune.
The company's JV bagged a LOI for two deals valued at Rs 620.76 crores from MCGM for supply, setting up and maintenance of AMR water metres for the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai.
Besides, Unity Infraprojects received another deal from MCGM of Rs 325.23 crore for replacement of two Pipelines of 1800 mm dia, from Tansa to Tarali.
The company received a LOA from, CPWD, New Delhi for redevelopment plan of Dev Nagar, New Delhi, amounting to Rs 72 crore.
Moreover, the company has declared 45% dividend for the financial year 2008-09.
While declaring the results, the company's Chairman and MD, Mr. Kishore K. Avarsekar stated, "We are extremely pleased with the result and looking to step up the pace of our order execution and ramp up our operations."
