Transcend has made announcement about the launching of its compact JetFlash T5 USB flash drive in the Indian market.

The T5 from the Jetflash family, which can be used as a mobile phone dongle or keychain fob, weighs just 2 grams and measures 29.9mm x 15.3mm x 6.1mm (L x W x D).

Sporting a retractable connector design and two-tone color schemes, the new super slim, small, and light-weight USB drive comes packed in a non-breakable plastic body, which is strong enough to resist bending, vibrations, and is even water-proof.

The JetFlash elite software suite can be set up to run directly from the JetFlash drive after plugging it in, and includes seven data management functions that includes Website auto-login, PC-Lock, favorites, secret-zip, e-mail, data backup, and online update.

The new unique and stylish drive permits users to store up personal files, store, and share files without any difficulty.

This plug and play device is driverless USB powered and does not need external power or battery.

The JetFlash T5 USB flash drive is available in three capacities including 2GB (Orange/Black), 4GB (White/Black) and 8GB (Red/Black).

Along with three years of warranty, the orange/black color 2 GB is priced at Rs 500, the white/black color 4GB is priced at Rs 650 and the red/black color 8GB is priced at Rs 850.
