The laptop fever is on. These days, all the leading companies are busy with the launches of their exclusive and updated laptops. Recently Toshiba launched Centrino 2-based laptops - Satellite Pro S300, Tecra M10 and Tecra A10. All the laptops are equipped with Easyguard technology and a 1.3 megapixel webcam with business card reader software.

The main attraction for the customers would be Tecra M10 and Tecra A10 since both the laptops are targeted for the business customers, and are based on Centrino 2 vPro technology.

Other than this, Easy Guard technology includes HDD security, keyboard protection, fingerprint reader and Trusted Platform Module. Common features in all three laptops are eSATA/USB 2.0 Combo ports, four Sleep-and-Charge USB Ports, 1.3 megapixel webcam integrated with business card reader application and "green computing" status.

 The Satellite Pro S300 is priced at $1299 and includes Intel P8600 2.4GHz CPU. It also features Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD graphics chip. To add more to its attraction, the laptop also features docking support with Express Port Replicator and one year standard limited warranty.

On the other hand, both Tecra models are available in one to three year standard warranty. Both the models have a common motherboard design, which aims at helping consumers to obtain services at lower costs. Tecra M10 with a 14.1-inch screen is currently priced at $1399, while price of A10 is yet to be announced.
