Tidal to remove Beyonce’s songs

According to reports, music service Tidal could soon lose Beyonce’s songs. The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer’s most of the songs are owned by Sony and her spouse Jay Z is the owner of Tidal streaming service. Jay Z’s website has yet to come to a license with Sony.

Jay Z launched the service earlier this year, which has been plagued by bad press since its launch. Now, due to licensing issue, the website will lose most of Beyonce's songs. According to reports, Sony has asked the music streaming website’s owner for large advances for the rights to stream the catalogs of its artists.

Sony has warned Jay Z over the issue, but it will not affect his relationship with his wife, Beyonce. The couple was seen enjoying their time on Friday. The pair made a stylish arrival at the Corner Deli in New York City. The 33-year-old American singer appeared in multi-patterned blouse which the singer tucked into a pair of skinny jeans. The mother-of-one also wore a funky pair of white and silver sunglasses.

Jay was with her and there was a smile on his face. He wore casual chic black and white ensemble. The 45-year-old rapper and producer had also worn a black T-shirt, black denim trousers, and striped bright white kicks. He and his wife were outing during a recent trip with their daughter Blue Ivy to Italy.

About licensing issue, Bloomberg reported that the rapper has yet to come to an agreement with Sony. As per the reports, when Jay bought Tidal's Norwegian parent company Aspiro, he had to discuss the streaming agreement with companies like Universal, Warner and Sony.

Sony has been asking the streaming website for huge advances for permission to stream its artists' music.
