It has been reported that Southwest Airlines admits they bumped a skinny person from a flight from Las Vegas to Sacramento to make room for a fat person to have an extra seat.

KDAF-TV, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, reported on Sunday that the latest incident involving the airline, an allegedly obese person and a thin person happened this month when the thin woman bought a full-fare ticket, the last seat on the plane, and sat down only to be asked to leave so the obese person could have her seat for extra room.

KDAF-TV quoted Southwest Airlines spokesman Paul Flannigan as saying, "The passenger in question was a minor who was traveling alone. Normally if the passenger were an adult, she would be required to purchase an extra ticket, but we did not want to leave the 14-year-old stranded."

The thin woman was booked on the next available flight and given a credit toward a future flight.

Attorney Clint David said, "I think what they should have done was ask for volunteers to leave the plane." (With Inputs from Agencies)
