Texts from mystery woman behind Harry-Chelsy split?
London, Nov 13: Messages that Prince Harry received from a mystery girl may have been the reason he was dumped by girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
According to sources, 22-year old Chelsy discovered the messages on Harry’s mobile phone after she caught him having a whispered conversation with someone.
“She stole a look at his phone and found the text messages. Chelsy was furious. She then confronted Harry and they had a blazing row, ” The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
Pals of the Zimbabwean revealed that the messages appeared to be sent from a secret admirer.
Chelsy is said to have discovered them after Harry returned from watching England’s Rugby World Cup semi-final against France in Paris on October 13.
“Chelsy, more than anyone, knows dating a prince comes at a price. Women are always after Harry wherever he goes. They even throw themselves at him right there in front of Chelsy, ” the source said.
“But when she found the texts on his phone after the France game she hit the roof. It started when Chelsy overheard Harry having a whispered conversation with a girl.
“Later she stole a look at his mobile while he wasn’t looking and found the text messages that really upset her.
“The argument deepened when Harry continued to go to the Rugby World Cup final – even though Chelsy knew that the girl in question would probably be there.
“Chelsy put her foot down. She said men who are truly in love with their girlfriends don’t conduct close friendships with other women to that degree. ”
The couple met in April 2004 in Zimbabwe, and though nobody believed the relationship would last more than a few months, they proved them wrong by staying together for three years.
The relationship began to unravel soon after Chelsy moved to England to study law at the University of Leeds and be closer to her boyfriend.
Another factor that is said to have played its part in the break-up was the constant media attention surrounding the couple.
The 22-year-old Zimbabwean is said to have made a series of tearful telephone calls to the Prince last week, and later confided to a close friend that Harry had agreed to the "trial separation". (ANI)
