Teenage girl throws 7-month old baby in front of bus
Police have revealed that a teenage girl allegedly snatched a 7-month-old from the arms of the infant's sister and threw him into the path of an oncoming bus in south London.
Sky News reported on Wednesday that seven-month-old Tavish Dabedeen hit his head and suffered bumps and bruises in the attack about 7:15 p. m. July 27 at a Croydon train station.
The bus driver managed to swerve and avoid hitting the baby, who was taken to the hospital.
Tavish's father, Rajiv Dabedeen, said, "He is lucky to be alive, he hit his head and had bumps and bruises but other than that he is fine."
Sky News also reported that Dabedeen says he believes the incident was a targeted attack conducted by two teenage schoolmates who'd been bullying Tavish's sister because she suffers from a skin condition.
Dabedeen said, "I want the school and council to do more to tackle this problem. If this had been sorted earlier this may not have happened. My son could have died." (With Inputs from Agencies)
