Kuala Lumpur, Apr. 15 : Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak gave a pleasant surprise to country's Sikh community by participating in the Vasakhi Day celebrations on Tuesday.

Besides visiting the Sahib Tatt Khalsa Diwan Gurdwara for the first time, he also tried his hand at making chapattis, leaving other cooks delighted.

Kuala Lumpur  - Malaysia's king appointed Najib Razak as the country's new prime minister Friday in a solemn swearing-in ceremony held at the royal palace.

Dressed in black traditional Malay clothing Najib took his oath of office, loyalty and confidentiality before King Mizan Zainal Abidin, making him the country's sixth prime minister.
