New York, April 14 : Bernie Madoff's wife could not get her hair coloured at a local New York salon, courtesy her husband's largest investor fraud which has left her facing a ban from entering the beauty premises.

Ruth was prohibited from stepping into Pierre Michel Salon since her presence reminded some customers of Madoff's Ponzi scheme which had taken their husbands for a ride.
