London, Apr. 9 : Former England football star Paul Gascoigne aka Gazza treated his dad to some bling and took him shopping for jewellery.

According to The Sun, the 41-year-old former England footie idol, bought a solid gold gun-shaped charm for his 62-year-old dad John.

The former Newcastle and Spurs star, who has battled drink and drug demons, showed how his fortunes have changed as he haggled the price down to 220 pounds.

London, Mar. 25 : British footballer Paul Gascoigne has vowed to heal his rift with ex-wife Sheryl.

"Hopefully, in time, I will get reunited with them. I want to be, and in time may be with Sheryl. Who knows? We might become friends again," Gazza said with tears in his eyes.

Gazza, who had earlier branded Sheryl a "vulture''" for pocketing 50,000 pounds to appear in a TV documentary, said he wanted his former wife to enjoy her life.

London, Mar. 24 : Troubled former England football star Paul Gascoigne has revealed how he turned to TV chat show host Richard Madeley to “see if I was making sense”.

Gazza, who is recovering after being sectioned under the Mental Health Act, confessed he used to ring Richard at 3 a. m. and send him texts because he felt “so lonely inside”, Sky News reports.

The ex-England star turned to Richard, 52, who he had met several times, because he knew he would listen.

London, Feb 9 : Former England football legend Paul John Gascoigne, popularly referred to as `Gazza', wants to take part in the gruelling Ironman Triathlon event, in a bid to conquer his drink, drug and depression problems.

Playing in the position of midfield, Paul's career included spells at Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Middlesbrough, Everton, Lazio and Rangers. He was also capped 57 times for England.
