According to Tressie Lieberman, vice president of innovation and on demand at Taco Bell, orders took approximately 38 minutes, when it conducted limited testing at its stores in Orange County, Dallas, Palo Alto and San Jose, Calif.

Lieberman said, "We've been talking about delivery for a while, because it's the No. 1 most requested thing" by customers". He also said that Taco Bell would be promoting its delivery test on Snapchat, Periscope, and Twitter.

The announcement has been made by Taco Bell after many other fast-food companies entered the world of delivering food.

In 2012, Burger King started testing delivery service in a number of cities in the US. McDonald's also started testing delivery in New York City in May of this year with help of the mobile app Postmates. Taco Bell has performed well in most of the suburban markets.
