S Kandamby and S Jayasuria have led Sri Lankan team to a huge total of 307 runs for loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 50 overs at Colombo on Saturday. Kandamby scored unbeaten 91 runs while Jayasuria smashed 98 runs.

Sri Lankan skipper K Sangakkara won the toss and elected to bat first. Sri Lankan team got to a good start as T Dilshan and Jayasuria added together 57 runs for the first wicket.

Sri Lankan team was once struggling at the score of 175 runs with loss of 5 wickets. But after that Kandamby and C Kapugedera (36) helped Sri Lanka to put up a mammoth total on the board.

A Nehra, Harbhajan Singh, S Raina and I Sharma took one wicket each. The highest score chased on this ground is 271 runs and Indian team will have to chase a record total here to save their No. 1 crown in the ICC ODI rankings.
