Sri Lanka invites Pakistan to bat first in second ODI
Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara has won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first in the second ODI match at Dambulla on Saturday. Sri Lanka is leading the five one day internationals series 1-0.
Pakistan got to a bad start as K Kulasekera showed the way to pavilion to the opener N Jamshed on very first ball of the match. Jamshed lost his wicket without scoring even a single run.
K Akmal was also unable to resist on the crease and he lost his wicket at the individual score of 13 runs. The vice-captain became the second victim of Thusara and he also returned to pavilion without opening his account.
Pakistan batting order has failed in last few matches due to which they lost the test series against Sri Lanka 2-0. The problem continued to haunt Pakistan in the first ODI match also. In the first ODI match, Sri Lanka thumped Pakistan by 52 runs.
