Sreesanth to play for Warwickshire
Indian aggressive fast bowler S Sreesanth has inked contract with Warwickshire to play for the club in the ongoing season and he is expected to play seven matches for the club in the County Championship after August 7.
Sreesanth confirmed that he has signed contract with Warwickshire and he will be happy to play in the English County as it has been obligatory for every player to participate in at least four first class matches to become eligible for selection in the Indian team.
Sreesanth, who missed ICC T20 World Cup due to back injury, played his last International match against Australian in Brisbane in March 2008. He was ruled out from the list of 30 probable players for the Champions Trophy, which will starts from 22 September in South Africa.
On the issue of clashing Ranji Trophy with County championship Sreesanth said that there are no chances of clashing these tournaments as he would return home on 27th September while Ranji Trophy would be played in November. He would play a lot of matches in the English County as cricket is played there on all seven days of the week.
Sreesanth also played some matches in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL-2) for Kings Eleven Punjab in South Africa earlier this year.
