Sprint starts tooting its bugle about the Palm Pre

Sprint, PalmSprint has started tooting is bugle about the launch of the Palm Pre, which is expected to hit the market next month. The Overland Park, Kansas based wireless telecommunications service provider, Sprint is reportedly gearing up for May 17 launch of the Palm Pre.

Sprint and Palm are both hoping big from Palm Pre. Palm is touting that the Palm Pre is the phone that thinks ahead to make users' life easier, while Sprint is claiming that the Palm Pre is going to be showstopper; is going to freeze vacation in May.

Sprint is hotly promoting the Palm Pre. On Friday, Sprint rolled out a full page ad, featuring the Palm Pre in the Wall Street Journal, costing $264,000. The Palm Pre has been featured in the new Sprint commercial saying - "Welcome to the Now Network - Population: 49 million - 16,000 people are watching stock prices and holding their breath - 29,997 people just twittered on Twitter for the first time today - 13,194 people are playing Soudoku online - And 1,438 people in an airport are emailing 1,438 in another airport - Now…" at the bottom of commercial the Palm Pre has been featured next to the Twitter bird.
