Sprint’s HTC Hero with the latest update
The Taiwanese phone maker with an association with Sprint network is bringing out new updates for the smartphone, Android 2.1.
Yes, you heard it right, the HTC Hero is poised for its latest update for its Operating system. It was revealed through a screen shot released at the Best Buy employee news page that reads; the update was "delayed until this week" and will be "in all stores" by this Friday, May 7.
Making it crystal clear that HTC Hero sold under Best Buy Mobile supervision shall be featuring the update in them.
The HTC Hero boasts of a smartphone powered by performance with a hint of elegance. It has a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a trackball for navigation, runs on Qualcomm 528MHz processor with inbuilt support for Adobe Flash.
The phone runs the Android OS v1.5, a 5MP autofocus camera along with an inbuilt geotagging and 'Footprints' applications. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones and when connected to internet performs exceptionally well, and features such as Google Maps and social networking add a flavor to this smartphone.
Meanwhile the update for current users can be attained from HTC's website, if the stores' become too crowded.
