South African squad lands in India
South African squad led by skipper Gram Smith has arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai in India on Saturday night to play two test matches and three one day international matches series against the host.
Former South African fast bowler Corrie van Zyl is the interim team coach of South African team as former coach Mickey Arthur had resigned after some differences with the South African cricket board.
South African team will play a warm-up match against the Board President's XI at the old Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium from 2nd February while first test match will be played at Nagpur from 6th February.
The second test match will be held at Kolkata from 14th February and three ODI matches will be played at Jaipur, Kanpur and Ahmedabad on 21st February, 24th February and 27th February respectively.
South African squad includes Graeme Smith (Captain), Hashim Amla, Johan Botha, Mark Boucher (wicket-keeper), AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Paul Harris, Jacques Kallis, Ryan McLaren, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Ashwell Prince, Dale Steyn and Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
