Sorry India, but it’s all over for this year
It's all over of this year's Twenty20 World Cup; the last super eight is just a formality. It won't help them to reach the semis even if the win. They are out of the race to the semis.
Just two days ago, they were blown away by a torrent of bouncers from a fiery Australia, and now a defeat form the West Indians has closed the door for the semis.
Last night, India lost its second super eight games against West Indies and now virtually it has no chance to repeat the story of 2007. It was the second successive defeat in the Super Eights.
According to cricket experts the team is not learning from its mistakes. In T20 matches you can't afford such mistakes time and again.
India won the toss, elected to field, conceded dozen of sixes in first few overs, when it came out for batting, the batting line of the Indian team collapsed at a small score. This was almost a repeat show of the game against Australia. And finally, Team India lost the match by 14 runs and now it is out of the tournament.
