Amsterdam - A seventh Dutch tourist involved in a bus accident in Spain Friday has died, the Dutch foreign affairs ministry confirmed Sunday.

Some 20 Dutch tourists remain in Spanish hospitals following the accident near San Pol der Mar on the Costa Brava.

The double decker bus carrying 65 Dutch tourists from Barcelona to Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Malgrat de Mar, skidded while rounding a bend, hit a private car and then overturned.

Surviving passengers told Dutch media the bus was doing at least 80 kilometres an hour where a maximum of 40 kilometers an hour was allowed. Police have launched an investigation into the accident.(dpa)
