Few days back, BMW exposed X1’s new edition SDrive 20D EfficientDynamics. This version probably will be launched in the European market by the end of this year. On the other hand, in India, BMW will launch this new edition next year. With the advent of this new edition, BMW will once again prove itself as a powerful leading car company.

This upcoming edition will be powered by a 2.0L diesel engine that will be efficient in generating 163 bhp power and 380 Nm torque. The mileage will be of 22.43 kmpl. The new features in this edition will be electromechanical power steering, low tire rolling resistance, brake energy regeneration, start/stop button, longer axle and power to disengage AC compressor.

This diesel version car will prove to be the most efficient BMW X model. The car will have the TwinPower turbo technology that includes a supercharging system. The car will have the combined fuel consumption of around 4.5 litres per 100km along with 119g/km CO2 emissions, which is not more than that of a small diesel hatchback.

Till now, BMW X1 has done well so far in the Indian market. The company is ready with 10 new SUV’s models for the European markets. However, the company has not launched four-wheel drive models in India yet.
