Satyam posts Rs. 4,231.90 crore turnover The worst has been over for the fraud-hit Satyam Computer, after its acquisition by Mahindra Group. Presently known as Mahindra Satyam, the firm has ranked at the top place in the list of exporters from the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and IT SEZs in Andhra Pradesh for the financial year 2008-09.

The company remained in the limelight following the disclosure of largest ever corporate auditing fraud by Satyam's founder chief Ramalinga Raju and top executives of the company.

It has now emerged as the top exporter from Andhra Pradesh, reporting a turnover of Rs. 4,231.90 crore.

The firm reported its total export turnover at Rs. 32,509 crore; thus surpassing rivals Infosys, Wipro and Microsoft, whose export revenues stood at Rs 3094.31 crore, Rs 2540.90 crore and Rs 1286.20 crore respectively.

Terming the figures tentative, a senior STPI official said: "These are whatever figures we got from the existing managements of the companies towards the end of 2008 and we have done whatever certification we could, but there would be some alterations when the final figures come out."
